StreamHub — viewer submissions without duplicates

I designed a streamer’s console around one task: avoiding rereading dozens of posts about the same event every day. Its core is a submission feed with news groups: one main article and related details. Other preparation and streaming tools sit alongside it.

The task

Viewers send news from different sources. Duplicates and similar posts turn the submissions into a long feed that needs manual sorting. The goal is to retain different details of a story while removing unnecessary repetition.

My role

Designed the console and submission sorting logic: grouping similar news, filtering duplicates and saving useful material for a stream. Built a working interface prototype and planned how it could connect to content sources and streaming tools.

One story, one group

Instead of dozens of identical stories, there is one main article with related materials and additional details alongside it. The filter logic removes exact duplicates while keeping different reports of the same event together. The streamer chooses a story, then reviews details worth discussing. For example, 30 submitted posts can become four main stories worth reading.

Useful material stays close at hand

Relevant news and videos can be saved to favourites. Stream materials are kept separate from the main feed and are easy to return to during a discussion.

A console for a streamer’s working day

I considered a New York-based streamer with a largely European audience: clocks for different cities are visible together. The workspace includes planned areas for chat, YouTube recommendations, stream controls, donations and statistics from past streams.

Who it’s for

For streamers and hosts who receive many audience submissions and prepare broadcasts around news, videos and discussions.

How it works

An interface built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript: console screens, related articles, filters, favourites and clocks for several cities.

Tools

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

A possible integration

A possible setup: a Telegram bot receives materials, an AI agent groups news and checks for duplicates, and the console displays the result. Processing could run on a server, so the streamer wouldn’t need to keep it running on their own computer.

Lots of material to sort through by hand?

We’ll discuss how to collect, group and present it in a useful working interface.
